Knowing how to recognise dysregulation in our nervous system and being
able to respond in an adaptive way is the most powerful tool
to enhance empl
oyee wellbeing and performance.

Why the nervous system?

At Conscious Performance we help organisations and their employees to master their nervous system. Mastering means

1. Understanding how our nervous system creates our sensations, our thoughts, our feelings, and our behaviours,

2. Learning different practices to guide yourself back to feeling safe and regulated,

3. Creating your own routine to engage and work with your nervous system on an ongoing basis.

We deliver experiential learning through our workshops that incorporate education and practice of relevant tools and strategies that engage the body through breathwork, movement and EFT, and support body-mind integration. Workshops are delivered in group settings so that participants can learn from each other, as well as facilitate the integration of learnings and creation of personal routines for optimal nervous system regulation

Practices on offer

Through a range of webinars, workshops and tailored programmes we provide an experiential element, teaching a variety of tools that employees can use both in and outside work to remain regulated and on their A-game.

Breathwork

Breathwork can significantly benefit organisations by enhancing the overall well-being, productivity, and cohesion of their workforce. By incorporating breathwork techniques, employees can effectively manage stress, improve focus, and maintain emotional balance, leading to a more resilient and motivated team. Regular practice of controlled breathing enhances cognitive functions and creativity, fostering innovative thinking and efficient problem-solving. Additionally, breathwork promotes better physical health and energy levels, which could reduce absenteeism and healthcare costs. It also cultivates a culture of mindfulness and presence, which can improve interpersonal relationships and teamwork. Ultimately, breathwork could be a key contributory factor in creating a positive work environment, where employees are more engaged, satisfied, and productive in all areas of their life, driving organisational success.

Movement

Incorporating physical movement into the workday could significantly boost employee well-being and enhance performance. Regular physical activity, whether through structured exercise programs, walking meetings, or simple stretching breaks, helps reduce stress and anxiety by releasing endorphins, the body’s natural mood elevators. Movement also improves cardiovascular health, increases energy levels, and enhances cognitive function by boosting blood flow to the brain. This results in sharper focus, better problem-solving abilities, and greater creativity. Additionally, promoting physical activity in the workplace can improve team cohesion and morale, as employees engage in shared activities that foster a sense of community. Overall, encouraging movement leads to healthier, happier employees who are more productive, engaged, and effective in their roles, ultimately benefiting the organisation’s success.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), often referred to as “tapping,” can significantly enhance employee well-being and focus in the workplace. This method involves tapping on specific acupressure points on the body while voicing affirmations, which can help alleviate stress, reduce anxiety, and improve emotional regulation. By addressing these underlying emotional issues, EFT helps employees feel more relaxed and centered, leading to a calmer and more focused mind. Regular practice of EFT can improve mental clarity, enhance concentration, and boost overall productivity by clearing mental blocks and reducing the impact of stressors. Additionally, EFT can foster a more positive workplace atmosphere by helping employees manage their emotions more effectively, leading to better interpersonal relationships and a supportive work environment. Ultimately, EFT equips employees with a simple yet powerful tool to maintain their mental and emotional health, enhancing their ability to perform optimally at work.
